In this picture, Atlantis and her six-member crew can be seen launching from NASA's Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39A, while two F-15 Strike Eagles assigned to the 4th Fighter Wing patrol the skies near the launch site.
For this ISS assembly mission, Atlantis carried 14,592 kg of cargo to the orbital outpost, including an airlock and a radiator for the Russian Nauka module. Nauka itself only launched in 2021, and the radiator - delivered by the shuttle in 2010 - was actually installed two days ago (!) at the time this post is being published.
Atlantis's crew included Commander Kenneth Ham, Pilot Dominic Antonelli, and Mission Specialists, Garrett Reisman, Michael Good, Steve Bowen (in space at the time of writing as the Commander of SpaceX Crew-6), and Piers Sellers.
